Green School Program: IRT and SMPN 10 Students Explore Bagendung Waste Management Facility
A group of students from SMPN 10 Cilegon, accompanied by PT Indo Raya Tenaga (IRT), visited the Bagendung Final Waste Disposal Site (TPSA) in Cilegon on December 13, 2023. The visit aimed to introduce the facility as a place where waste is processed into various useful and beneficial products.
As part of the visit, IRT also presented certificates of appreciation to students who won the poster competition. The competition, themed “Environment and Sustainability,” had previously been held for students as part of the Green School Program. The competition was held as part of IRT’s initiative to train and guide students in designing environmental campaign posters using Canva, under themes such as Say No to Plastic, Beautiful Oceans Without Waste, Save the Earth, Three Easy Ways to Save the Planet, and 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). From the submissions, five outstanding posters were selected as winners.
Green School Program: Pelajar SMPN 10 dan IRT Kunjungi TPSA Bagendung
Sejumlah pelajar SMPN 10 Cilegon bersama PT Indo Raya Tenaga (IRT) melakukan kunjungan ke Tempat Pembuangan Sampah Akhir (TPSA) Bagendung, Cilegon pada 13 Desember 2023. Kunjungan tersebut bertujuan mengenalkan TPSA ini sebagai sarana pengolahan sampah menjadi berbagai hal yang bermanfaat.
Di sela rangkaian kunjungan ini, IRT juga memberikan sejumlah sertifikat penghargaan bagi para siswa yang memenangkan lomba poster. Sebelumnya lomba poster bertema “Environment and Sustainability” digelar untuk para siswa sebagai salah satu bagian Program Green School. Lomba diadakan sebagai bagian kegiatan IRT dalam melatih dan mengarahkan siswa untuk membuat desain kampanye lingkungan bertema Say No to Plastic; Laut Indah Tanpa Sampah; Save The Earth; Tiga Cara Mudah Selamatkan Bumi; dan 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) dengan menggunakan aplikasi Canva. Dari situ, dipilih lima poster terbaik sebagai pemenang.
