We are proud to have received the Energy and Resources In-house Team of the Year award at the ALB Indonesia Law Awards 2025 held by Thomson Reuters and Asian Legal Business!

This award reflects the high standard that our in-house counsel team has continued to maintain throughout the project’s journey. And what a journey it has been! Ever since being recognized as the Project Finance Deal of the Year at the ALB Indonesia Law Awards 2021, our Jawa 9-10 USC Power Plant project and in-house counsel team has been nominated nearly every year. In fact, just a few months back, we were listed as one of the top five Energy and Resources In-house Team of the Year at the ALB Southeast Asia Law Awards 2025. After years of edging closer and closer to the peak, we are very happy to finally be here! Congratulations to the members of our in-house counsel team: Ms. Hanna Meliana, Mr. Yudhistira Wardana, Ms. Dinda Khamasasyiah, Ms. Yessy Muliawan, Mr. Djuan Dennis Sihotang, and Mr. Ivan Gautama!

The excellence that our in-house counsel team is recognized for also represents the collective strength and resilience throughout our other departments: where challenges are met, we rise to meet them together. Nothing less can be expected in our position as the independent power producer that operates the Jawa 9-10 USC Power Plant, especially when we aim to be the benchmark of energy transition in Indonesia.

Powering the Transition to NZE: this is not just a tagline for our 8th year anniversary but also represents the core principle of why we do what we do. As we move to a greener and more sustainably powered world, energy transition is a crucial and necessary phase that we must go through together. To that end, we employ the best minds and technology available – for instance, we are the first and only power plant in Indonesia to implement Ultra Super Critical (USC) with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) Boiler technology to achieve next-level efficiency and emission reduction.

Last but not least, we could not have achieved everything that we have achieved at such a remarkable period of time had it not been for the constant support and assistance of our shareholders, sponsors, partners, and counsels. You have made our journey possible!

K3 Award (Occupational Health and Safety Award) 2025 from the Banten Provincial Government

PT Indo Raya Tenaga (IRT) was honored with the K3 Award (Occupational Safety and Health Award) 2025 by the Banten Provincial Government on April 23, 2025. This award reflects the company’s strong and continuous commitment to upholding occupational safety and health standards.

The recognition covered three categories: Zero Workplace Accidents throughout 2024, a Platinum rating for the Occupational Safety and Health Committee (P2K3), and a Platinum rating for the Workplace HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Program.

Penghargaan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) Tahun 2025 dari Pemerintah Provinsi Banten

PT Indo Raya Tenaga (IRT) menerima Penghargaan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) Tahun 2025 dari Pemerintah Provinsi Banten pada tanggal 23 April 2025. Penghargaan ini merupakan bentuk apresiasi atas komitmen perusahaan dalam menerapkan standar keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja secara konsisten.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, tiga kategori pengakuan didapatkan, yaitu sebagai Perusahaan Nihil Kecelakaan kerja selama periode tahun 2024, Panitia Pembina Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (P2K3) dengan peringkat nilai Platinum, serta Program Pencegahan dan Penanggulangan HIV/AIDS di Tempat Kerja dengan peringkat nilai Platinum.

Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) study funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB)

From March 10 to 14, 2025, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in collaboration with Karbon Korea organized a Technical Training Workshop on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) in Seoul, South Korea.

The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of CCS technologies and their practical applications. Held at Fraser Place Namdaemun Hotel, the program featured expert-led lectures on topics such as carbon capture methods, carbon tax and market mechanisms, emissions trading systems, and real-world implementation strategies.

The event was attended by 20 participants from Indonesia, representing various ministries and private companies, including two representatives from PT Indo Raya Tenaga.

Studi Penangkapan dan Penyimpanan Karbon (Carbon Capture and Storage/CCS) yang didanai oleh Asian Development Bank (ADB)

Pada tanggal 10 hingga 14 Maret 2025, Asian Development Bank (ADB) bekerja sama dengan Karbon Korea menyelenggarakan Lokakarya Pelatihan Teknis mengenai Penangkapan dan Penyimpanan Karbon (Carbon Capture and Storage/CCS) di Seoul, Korea Selatan.

Lokakarya ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta terhadap teknologi CCS dan penerapannya secara praktis. Bertempat di Fraser Place Namdaemun Hotel, program ini menghadirkan sesi-sesi pemaparan oleh para ahli dengan topik mencakup metode penangkapan karbon, mekanisme pajak dan pasar karbon, sistem perdagangan emisi, serta strategi implementasi di lapangan.

Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 20 peserta dari Indonesia yang mewakili berbagai kementerian dan perusahaan swasta, termasuk dua perwakilan dari PT Indo Raya Tenaga.

Press Release: Green Ammonia and Green Hydrogen for Power Plants of the Future

On July 4, 2024, CEO of PLN, Darmawan Prasodjo, conducted a working visit to several coal-fired power plant (CFPP) sites in Banten Province. He was accompanied by the CEO of PLN Indonesia Power, PLN Nusantara Power, and PLN Energi Primer Indonesia. The visit was part of efforts to monitor the performance of privately operated power plants.

Among the locations visited was the Jawa 9 & 10 Project, with the purpose of monitoring its progress and ensuring alignment with project milestones.

During the visit, PT Indo Raya Tenaga received a formal commendation for its strong collaboration in delivering the project on schedule and with a high standard of safety, contributing to the stability of the national electricity grid.

Rilis Berita: Amonia Hijau dan Hidrogen Hijau untuk Pembangkit Listrik Masa Depan

Kunjungan Kerja Dirut PLN ke Sejumlah Pembangkit Listrik di Banten Electrizen, pada 4 Juli 2024, Direktur Utama PLN Darmawan Prasodjo melakukan kunjungan ke sejumlah lokasi PLTU di Banten bersama dengan Dirut PLN IP, Dirut PLN NP, dan Dirut PLN EPI. Ini merupakan bagian dari monitoring kinerja pembangkit swasta.

Salah satu lokasi yang dikunjungi adalah Proyek Jawa 9 & 10. Kunjungan tersebut bertujuan untuk memastikan kemajuan proyek berjalan sesuai rencana.

Dalam kunjungan tersebut, PT Indo Raya Tenaga menerima apresiasi resmi atas kolaborasi yang solid dalam menyelesaikan proyek tepat waktu dengan standar keselamatan yang tinggi, sehingga berkontribusi terhadap stabilitas jaringan listrik nasional.

K3 Award (Occupational Health and Safety Award) 2024 from the Banten Provincial Government

The Banten Provincial Government recognized PT Indo Raya Tenaga’s (IRT) strong commitment to workplace safety by awarding the prestigious K3 Award (Occupational Safety and Health Award) 2024 on February 28, 2024.

IRT received awards in three categories: as a Zero-Accident Company for the year 2023; for its Occupational Safety and Health Committee (P2K3), which achieved a Platinum rating; and for its Workplace HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Program, which also received a Platinum rating.

Penghargaan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) Tahun 2024 dari Pemerintah Provinsi Banten

Pemerintah Provinsi Banten menganugerahkan Penghargaan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) Tahun 2024 kepada PT Indo Raya Tenaga (IRT) pada tanggal 28 Februari 2024, sebagai bentuk apresiasi atas komitmen yang kuat terhadap keselamatan kerja di lingkungan perusahaan.

IRT memperoleh penghargaan dalam tiga kategori, yakni sebagai Perusahaan Nihil Kecelakaan Kerja Tahun 2023, Panitia Pembina Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (P2K3) yang meraih peringkat Platinum, serta Program Pencegahan dan Penanggulangan HIV/AIDS di Tempat Kerja yang juga meraih peringkat Platinum.

Penghargaan ini mencerminkan keberhasilan IRT dalam membangun budaya kerja yang aman dan sehat bagi seluruh karyawan. Award From Cilegon City As part of the 35,000 MW Generator National Strategic Project of Indonesian government, the construction of PLTU Jawa 9 & 10 has been one of the biggest investment contributors in Cilegon. ALB (Thomson Reuters) Award 2021

Jawa 9 & 10 received recognition from ALB Thomson Reuters (one of Asia’s prominent legal journals) as the “Project Finance Deal of the Year” on October 7, 2021. From contractual, governance, and legal perspectives, the project was widely acknowledged for going above and beyond in securing an unprecedented yet bankable project financing structure.

Proyek Jawa 9 & 10 menerima pengakuan dari ALB Thomson Reuters (salah satu jurnal hukum terkemuka di Asia) sebagai “Project Finance Deal of the Year” pada 7 Oktober 2021. Dari perspektif kontraktual, tata kelola, dan hukum, proyek ini secara luas diakui telah melampaui standar dalam memperoleh skema pembiayaan proyek yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya namun tetap layak secara finansial.

Official Visit by Korean Ambassador

A delegation from the Government of the Republic of Korea, represented by the Korean Ambassador to Indonesia, Park Taesung, visited the Jawa 9 & 10 project site on September 21, 2021.

During the visit, the Ambassador acknowledged the project as “a strategic collaboration between two nations, symbolizing strong bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and Korea.”

Kunjungan Duta Besar Korea

Delegasi dari Pemerintah Republik Korea, yang diwakili oleh Duta Besar Korea untuk Indonesia, Park Taesung, melakukan kunjungan ke lokasi proyek Jawa 9 & 10 pada tanggal 21 September 2021.

Dalam kunjungan tersebut, Duta Besar menyampaikan apresiasinya terhadap proyek ini sebagai “sebuah kerja sama strategis antara dua negara yang mencerminkan kuatnya hubungan bilateral antara Indonesia dan Korea.”
