IRT’s Green School Program: Promoting Sustainability through Education
As part of its ongoing efforts to promote environmental awareness, PT Indo Raya Tenaga (IRT) provided cleaning and composting equipment to SMPN 10 Cilegon on December 15, 2022. This activity is part of the IRT Community Development – Green School Program, designed to support clean and sustainable school initiatives through organic waste reduction.
The donation was formally received by the school principal, Dian Sudiono, and included a 1,200-liter trash bin, complete cleaning tools, a wheelbarrow, and composting equipment. To ensure the effective use of the equipment, the IRT Enviro Team also provided a brief orientation on composting practices, including guidance on how to operate the composting tool to process organic waste into compost.

Sebagai bagian dari upaya berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan, PT Indo Raya Tenaga (IRT) memberikan bantuan berupa peralatan kebersihan dan alat komposter kepada SMPN 10 Cilegon pada 15 Desember 2022. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari IRT Community Development – Green School Program yang bertujuan mendukung inisiatif sekolah bersih dan berkelanjutan melalui pengurangan sampah organik.
Bantuan tersebut secara resmi diterima oleh Kepala Sekolah SMPN 10 Cilegon, Dian Sudiono, dan mencakup tempat sampah berkapasitas 1.200 liter, perlengkapan kebersihan lengkap, gerobak sorong, serta alat komposter. Agar pemanfaatan alat berjalan efektif, Tim Enviro IRT juga memberikan pengarahan singkat mengenai praktik pengomposan, dengan memberikan panduan penggunaan alat komposer untuk mengolah sampah organik menjadi kompos.
