Commemorating National Waste Awareness Day with a Clean-Up Initiative
PT Indo Raya Tenaga (IRT), together with the EPC Consortium (PT Doosan Heavy Industry Indonesia & PT Hutama Karya), participated in the 2023 National Waste Awareness Day on February 21, 2025.
Representatives from all levels of workers, including field personnel and management, took part in the activities. Participants collected waste around the project site and the national main road, and also planted fruit trees near the local fishing base. The fruit trees were chosen not only for greening purposes but also for their benefits to the surrounding community.
This initiative was part of IRT’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) campaign, demonstrating its commitment to environmental care around the ongoing Jawa 9 & 10 project.
Bersih-Bersih di Hari Peduli Sampah Nasional
PT Indo Raya Tenaga (IRT) bersama EPC Consortium (PT Doosan Heavy Industry Indonesia & PT Hutama Karya) turut memperingati Hari Peduli Sampah Nasional 2023 pada 21 Februari 2025.
Perwakilan pekerja dari berbagai level, termasuk manajemen dan pekerja lapangan, berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan ini. Mereka melakukan pengumpulan sampah di sekitar area proyek dan jalan nasional serta menanam pohon buah di sekitar Pangkalan Nelayan. Selain untuk penghijauan, pohon buah dipilih karena memiliki nilai manfaat bagi masyarakat sekitar.
Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari kampanye Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) IRT sebagai wujud kepedulian terhadap lingkungan di sekitar proyek Jawa 9 & 10.
