Plant Commercial Operation Date (COD)

The Plant’s Commercial Operation Date (COD) was officially achieved on May 2, 2025, marking the full commencement of Jawa 9 & 10’s power generation operations. This milestone confirms that both units have successfully completed all required testing, commissioning, and regulatory compliance processes, and are now operating at full capacity to supply electricity to the national grid on a commercial basis.

K3 Award (Occupational Health and Safety Award) 2025 from the Banten Provincial Government

PT Indo Raya Tenaga (IRT) was honored with the K3 Award (Occupational Safety and Health Award) 2025 by the Banten Provincial Government on April 23, 2025. This award reflects the company’s strong and continuous commitment to upholding occupational safety and health standards.

The recognition covered three categories: Zero Workplace Accidents throughout 2024, a Platinum rating for the Occupational Safety and Health Committee (P2K3), and a Platinum rating for the Workplace HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Program.

Penghargaan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) Tahun 2025 dari Pemerintah Provinsi Banten

PT Indo Raya Tenaga (IRT) menerima Penghargaan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) Tahun 2025 dari Pemerintah Provinsi Banten pada tanggal 23 April 2025. Penghargaan ini merupakan bentuk apresiasi atas komitmen perusahaan dalam menerapkan standar keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja secara konsisten.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, tiga kategori pengakuan didapatkan, yaitu sebagai Perusahaan Nihil Kecelakaan kerja selama periode tahun 2024, Panitia Pembina Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (P2K3) dengan peringkat nilai Platinum, serta Program Pencegahan dan Penanggulangan HIV/AIDS di Tempat Kerja dengan peringkat nilai Platinum.

Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) study funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB)

From March 10 to 14, 2025, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in collaboration with Karbon Korea organized a Technical Training Workshop on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) in Seoul, South Korea.

The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of CCS technologies and their practical applications. Held at Fraser Place Namdaemun Hotel, the program featured expert-led lectures on topics such as carbon capture methods, carbon tax and market mechanisms, emissions trading systems, and real-world implementation strategies.

The event was attended by 20 participants from Indonesia, representing various ministries and private companies, including two representatives from PT Indo Raya Tenaga.

Studi Penangkapan dan Penyimpanan Karbon (Carbon Capture and Storage/CCS) yang didanai oleh Asian Development Bank (ADB)

Pada tanggal 10 hingga 14 Maret 2025, Asian Development Bank (ADB) bekerja sama dengan Karbon Korea menyelenggarakan Lokakarya Pelatihan Teknis mengenai Penangkapan dan Penyimpanan Karbon (Carbon Capture and Storage/CCS) di Seoul, Korea Selatan.

Lokakarya ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta terhadap teknologi CCS dan penerapannya secara praktis. Bertempat di Fraser Place Namdaemun Hotel, program ini menghadirkan sesi-sesi pemaparan oleh para ahli dengan topik mencakup metode penangkapan karbon, mekanisme pajak dan pasar karbon, sistem perdagangan emisi, serta strategi implementasi di lapangan.

Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 20 peserta dari Indonesia yang mewakili berbagai kementerian dan perusahaan swasta, termasuk dua perwakilan dari PT Indo Raya Tenaga.

Commercial Operation Date (COD) Unit 1 secara resmi tercapai pada 5 Maret 2025, menandai dimulainya produksi dan penyaluran listrik skala penuh ke jaringan nasional. Tonggak pencapaian ini menunjukkan bahwa seluruh kegiatan pengujian dan komisioning telah berhasil diselesaikan, serta mengonfirmasi bahwa Unit 1 telah memenuhi persyaratan teknis, keselamatan, dan lingkungan untuk beroperasi secara komersial secara berkelanjutan.

First Synchronization Unit 2

The first synchronization of Unit 2 Steam Turbine Generator (STG) to the grid on January 28, 2025, signifies the start of power generation from the unit. This achievement confirms the readiness of the generator to operate in parallel with the national grid, paving the way for further testing and commercial operation.

Sinkronisasi Perdana Unit 2

Sinkronisasi awal Generator Turbin Uap (STG) Unit 2 ke jaringan listrik pada 28 Januari 2025 menandai tahapan awal pembangkitan daya dari unit tersebut. Keberhasilan ini menunjukkan bahwa generator telah siap beroperasi selaras dengan jaringan listrik nasional, sekaligus memulai fase pengujian lanjutan menuju operasi komersial.

Fish Seeding Activity at Situ Rawa Arum

To demonstrate its commitment to social responsibility and environmental preservation, PT Indo Raya Tenaga conducted a fish stocking event at Situ Rawa Arum on December 7, 2024. Situ Rawa Arum, located in Link. Tegalwangi, Rawa Arum Sub-district, Gerogol District, Cilegon City, was officially designated as a nature tourism site in 2013.

Sebagai wujud komitmen sosial dan pelestarian lingkungan, PT Indo Raya Tenaga menyelenggarakan kegiatan tebar benih ikan di Situ Rawa Arum pada 7 Desember 2024. Situ Rawa Arum yang terletak di Link. Tegalwangi, Kelurahan Rawa Arum, Kecamatan Gerogol, Kota Cilegon resmi ditetapkan sebagai wisata alam sejak 2013.

The first synchronization of Unit 1 Steam Turbine Generator (STG) to the grid was successfully carried out on November 13, 2024. This important milestone marks the initial connection of the generator to the PLN power grid, allowing the unit to begin delivering electricity and undergo performance testing as part of the commissioning process.

Sinkronisasi perdana Generator Turbin Uap (STG) Unit 1 ke jaringan listrik berhasil dilakukan pada 13 November 2024.
Tonggak penting ini menandai koneksi awal generator ke jaringan listrik PLN, yang memungkinkan unit mulai menyalurkan listrik dan menjalani pengujian kinerja sebagai bagian dari proses komisioning.

Coral Reef Rehabilitation Program

PT Indo Raya Tenaga (IRT), in collaboration with Smiling Coral Indonesia (SCI), is carrying out a coral reef rehabilitation program at Tunda Island, Banten. The program focuses on restoring damaged reefs through the installation of 330 coral transplant structures using coral blocks, coral racks, and coral spiders.

IRT also engages with the Tunda Island community by providing training on coral transplantation and maintenance, aiming to raise awareness and foster a sense of responsibility for coral reef preservation. Regular monitoring and maintenance are conducted to ensure the success of the program and to promote sustainable conservation practices.

Program Rehabilitasi Terumbu Karang

PT Indo Raya Tenaga, bekerja sama dengan Smiling Coral Indonesia (SCI), melaksanakan program rehabilitasi terumbu karang di Pulau Tunda, Banten. Program ini berfokus pada pemulihan ekosistem terumbu karang yang rusak melalui pemasangan 330 struktur transplantasi karang, menggunakan media coral block, rak karang, dan spider karang.

RT juga melibatkan masyarakat Pulau Tunda melalui pelatihan tentang transplantasi dan pemeliharaan terumbu karang guna meningkatkan kesadaran serta menumbuhkan rasa tanggung jawab terhadap pelestarian terumbu karang. Kegiatan pemantauan dan pemeliharaan rutin dilakukan untuk memastikan keberhasilan program serta mendorong praktik konservasi yang berkelanjutan.
